33rd Annual Point Girls Track & Field Invitational Friday, March 17, 2023 – 4:00 p.m.

UW-Stevens Point – Skyward Fieldhouse (Previously known as Multi-Activity Center)

Coaches Meeting at 3:45 p.m.

Heat sheets will be included in the meet packet available at the head table in the Skyward Fieldhouse. Please pick your meet packet when you arrive at the Fieldhouse. Relay “cards” will be included in your meet packet for verification of online relay entries (you MAY change your relay entry names and the order of runners at the meet). remember to bring your pole vault verification form and give the form to the clerk at the pole vault event.

FIELD EVENTS: Preliminaries and finals will be held in the shot put, long jump and triple jump. The preliminaries will be flighted. Two pits will be used for the long and triple jumps, which will be run simultaneously. The long and triple jump preliminaries will be open-pit, cafeteria-style with a time limit for each flight, which will be announced at the coaches meeting. Two shot put rings will be used for the prelims and one for the finals. Starting heights for the pole vault and high jump will be determined using meet entries and will be announced at the coaches’ meeting prior to the meet.

AWARDS: A plaque will be awarded to the first place team. Individual medals will be awarded to the top 3 finishers in each event. Awards will be placed in envelopes for each team and may be picked up by the head coach FOLLOWING the meet.

TRAINER: A Licensed Athletic Trainer from Aspirus will be located in the field event area throughout the meet. SITE NOTE: Concessions will be available. No food or drink is allowed in the Fieldhouse! Teams must set up their “team area” OUTSIDE of the Fieldhouse, in the hallways or outdoors. You may NOT set up in the Fieldhouse.

RESULTS: Results of each event will be posted at an announced location in the Fieldhouse. Final results will be available on MILESPLIT.
