About Dan Hoppe

Dan Hoppe, Hoppe for short, is a Stevens Point native, and SPASH Alum. Hoppe turned down an NBA contract to pursue a career as a Social Studies Teacher where he has not surprisingly risen in the ranks as one of the nations top 5 Social Studies teachers. When asked what made him choose this career path, he humbly replied, “I do it for the kids”. Wow, a true hero.*
